Youth Program
Run for Life Youth Programs introduce elementary aged school children to the sport of running in a fun and engaging way. The program is a mix of running based activities, co-operative games, stretching, and lots of laughter. The goal is to bring kids together in a casual way and let them see how important running and physical activity can be in their lives. Runners of all abilities are welcome. Children are encouraged to take part in their own school based competitions and community fun runs if at all possible.
The Run for Life Youth Program is 8-10 weeks in length and is offered in the Spring and Fall. We encourage communities to offer this as after school program to ensure the local community can take part. Children arrive on scooters, bicycles, and on foot. Parents bring your shoes as well and join in the fun.
