GO Communication Protocols

Each school registered in the Run for Life Global Outreach program agrees to communicate on a weekly basis with their partnered school.  The program runs from January to April of each year.

Schools agree to communicate by posting a weekly question generated from the staff and/or students of each school. The question is emailed to the lead teacher or posted on the Run for Life site on Tuesday of each week. The twinned school has until Friday to answer and post the answer. A sample question may be, “How does your school collect water and prepare lunch?”

The questions are answered by each school through text, photographs, or video.  The answers are sent  by email to the lead contact at each school.

Run for Life ensures the overseas school has the necessary digital infrastructure to participate in the program.

Run for Life provides teacher training and instruction to create a blog page where the dialogue between schools can be archived. A sample blog page is located here
