Run for Life Youth Programs introduce elementary-aged schoolchildren to running. The program is a mix of running-based activities, co-operative games, stretching, and lots of laughter. It is 8-10 weeks in length and is offered in the spring and fall.
The goal is to bring kids together in a casual way and let them see how important running and physical activity can be in their lives.
We encourage communities to integrate this into after-school programs to ensure the local community can take part. Children arrive on scooters, bicycles, and on foot. Parents bring your shoes and join in the fun.
